| Notes | Pretty sure the burial is wrong as his will is proved in 1813. There are three possibilities for Samuel Amies: 1. Samuel Amies born 13/4/1735, son of Bonham Amies & Hannah Wall, Easthope He'd be married at 22, have last child at 34, and die aged 71 Martha would be 24 and 36 and die aged 71 Ludlow: 17 Feb 1728 Bonham Amies, p. Holgate, & Hannah Wall, p. Chetton mar. 2. Samuel Amies born 19/9/1723, son of William Amies and Sarah, Holdgate He'd be married at 34, have last child at 45, and die aged 83. 3. , son of Samuel Amies & Mary Millard, Munslow Assumes they had children, which is not known. They were married in 1714 in Munslow. There are no children to be found in the parish registers, so this is eliminated. He moved with his family to Onibury before 1791, when his daughter Martha died (the parish register records it as Martha, d. of Samuel and Martha Amies). He was still in Munslow in 1773, when he was church warden, and in 1774 when Francis was born. I suspect he moved there when Cornelius Corbet died (in 1775) and took over his farm -- and passed this on to his son Francis. Confirm through land records?
